Carol Zerger

Carol Zerger is a native of Manhattan, Kansas, nestled among the Flint Hills. She’s had a passion for drawing people, animals and landscapes since childhood. She received a BS at Kansas State University where she studied art under Elmer Tomasch and Jim Hagen, but she didn’t begin her art career until 40+ years later. Her preferred medium is oil, where she can express herself with vibrant colors and bold brushstrokes. God’s creation inspires her and her desire is to convey that to others. Her realistic style paintings have been accepted into juried shows and many are in private collections. Carol is currently a member artist at the Carriage Factory in Newton, KS
