Rita Zaudke

I have always felt to be an artist was one of the greatest accomplishments a person could have. To be able to create from imagination or reproduce a beautiful scene and share my work with others has been my artistic goal. My paintings reflect two of many loves. Art and Italy. The paintings shown are painted from our travels to Italy and are actually places where we have been and have been enamored by the colorful scenes. I was born in Trieste, Italy and came to America when I was four years old and always had a desire to return as an adult. We spent many years traveling to Italy to capture the cityscapes, cliff-side panoramas, cascades of red bougainvillea flowers or white sandy beaches under the Mediterranean sun which are part of the Fine Art of Italy collection.

Studies include Wichita State University, private studies and a masters degree from Marywood University, Scranton, Pennsylvania.
